Nurse Jan
Check out Jan sporting her new scrubs, and new hairdo. Today is starting out better than yesterday, partially due to the medication issued for the diarrhea and stomach cramps. The chest pain persists and the doctors are running out of diagnostic tests to run. Since an MRI had not yet been ordered, the doctors decided to order one of those. So that will be scheduled in the next day or two. Thank you to everyone for your cards, emails, blog comments, well wishes, and prayers.

Hey, I like the new "do" and the Vanna White pose in front of the bulletin board filled with the cards and pictures from all the people who love you SO MUCH.
AND I'm glad to see a smile on your pretty face....I was having serious "what's-going-on-with-Jan-withdrawl" and needed a fix.

Wish you could have seen me dressed up as a Pregnant Hillbilly bride and Betty as my Paw acting out a shotgun wedding yesterday at the costume party at mhc. We won 1st place and had a great time. It surely would have made your day a little brighter. Thinking of you. Keep getting better. mary

I.m an old school friend of your Mom's from Georgia now living in this area. my wife Joan and I will keep you in our prayers. I had chest pains like you are describing and I found it to be caused by drinking too much coffee. I don't know if this is your problem or not. But after quitting coffee mine went away in about two weeks. Lots of luck and tell your mom hello.

I totally agree that you look beautiful in your scrubs and sporting the new "do". I have a pot of Spanish Bean Soup cooking and hope to tempt your appetite. I also have a new recipe for baked apples ala Cracker Barrel and they are cooking in the slow cooker. I'll bring you some of those also.

Hello Jan...just wanted you to know that I have been getting updates via your blog daily. What a great way to communicate your progress..By the way you look great and you seem to be holding up really well! I've often wondered how I would do if I had to take on something like this. I am such a total wuss when it comes to hospitals or anything medical related. Just yesterday I had a co-worker lose her lunch within a few feet of me in the cafeteria..Well you would have thought I was the sick one..I had immediate gag reflex that lasted for HOURS..I know..I know...WIMP! Anyway thats all for now..we think about you often and let your friend know the "horse that goes into a bar" joke is my all time favorite! Stay positive! Dave
